Job Expectation : Volunteer Opportunity: Join the Dietitian Directory Social Media Team (May-Aug 2023) At Dietitian Directory (www.dietitiandirectory.com) our mission is to promote the work of dietitians and connect them with the general public. We are seeking dietetic students from all years of their program who are familiar with Facebook and Google Suite. This position requires students to volunteer only 1-2 hours per week, virtually, between May and August. Students will be responsible for answering questions on five social media groups daily, 5 days per week, about where people can find a dietitian. By doing so, students will have the opportunity to learn more about the real needs of the public and help guide people to the professional help they need. In addition, students will gain exposure to a wide range of dietetic practices and gain insights into the latest trends and developments in the field. They will become part of a team that is passionate about promoting the profession of dietitians, and they will have the chance to network with other dietitians across the country. They will also be continuously supported by our team to help develop and guide their natural talents and abilities in nutrition and social media. We value and implement marketing ideas and suggestions provided by our student team. Moreover, we will provide students with a reference letter from a dietitian detailing their work and commitment to promoting the profession, as well as the skills they have developed during their time with us.
